The Zoo

We went to the Portland Zoo with the Loughary girls on Sunday. The kids had a great time- we saw lots of animals for how hot it was. Here's a few pics from the trip.

Welcome to the Family

Here are the latest additions to the family...Jake the leopard gecko and Whitey and Bugsy the guinea pigs. Aren't they cute? (And lots of work for mommy and daddy?)

Riding Stormy

We've been given an amazing opportunity to ride a horse from Gramma Betty and Kayella Simons. Meet Stormy- he's great with the kids, as you can see. We've been out several times already to ride him and hope to continue throughout the summer. Tyler and Ella love it, and mommy doesn't mind it either :)

Time to Celebrate

Tyler earned a day of play outside in the sun when he had good grades and no discipline issues. I went to his school for a little while to hang out with him...he enjoyed the water slide, the playground, sidewalk chalk, and few other activities.
